Aona is a vast place; so much so, in fact, that much of it still lies undiscovered. The known world occupies a northern and temperate area with (seemingly) boundless ocean to the south and west, with uncharted desert as far east as anyone knows, and frozen wasteland in the far north. The known world comprises the central land of Aphenhast, the desert realm Alhar to the east and the magiocracy of Harn to the west. The Aona writings chronicle a time of great unrest in all three of these vast lands, and eventually others.
